    2. Find information on national and provincial parks in Canada. I recommend the following sites:

    Survey several parks in Canada. Find some parks that have hiking, canoeing, and wilderness areas. Also find some that have camping or swimming. Try looking at some marine parks, or historic parks as well. Try different kinds of searches: by name, by location, by activity, etc.

    You are planning a wilderness adventure trip to one of Canada's provincial or national parks. A trip like this is usually at least for one week.

    Explain where your first choice to do this would be. (*Not all parks are appropriate for a wilderness trip.) Why is this park your first choice? What are your plans for your trip? What do you need to bring and prepare? What parks would be your second and third choices? Why?
