Do the quizzes for each grammar structure. If you need extra practice, do the "More Practice" quizzes for that structure.

Writing

Write a comparison between you and a friend that you know well. How are you the same? How are you different?

Remember to use "-er" for short comparative adjectives or adverbs. Use "more" or "less" for longer ones.

You can also use ". . . as (adjective/adverb) as . . . ", ". . . the same as . . . ", ". . . the same (noun) as . . . ", ". . . different from. . . ". This should be review for you. [See Units 23 and 25 in the green Focus On Grammar text book for more information.]
