Epiphany ~ Guardian of Mysticism and Contemplation
As life, in itself, to be a great eternal novel...each person, each object, each idea in itself creates a chapter. Death portrayed as the only 'End,' yet beneath it all just another beginning; not yet to be comprehended; for as one door closes, another opens, just as life, one chapter ends, another begins. A person's emotional chain, the weight building as the seconds tick by, takes the role of a pen, as there seems to be no erasing the past...each soul carrying the pen, tracing a light path along the edges of the 'paper,' our mind... becoming deeper and darker with time, along with the wounds of existence and conventional reality.
Another endless circle, without a beginning, without an end, without explanation. Ideas bring the circle to a sphere, filling the globe with words, as the physical earth forms all the pictures, as if making this unbelievable story a possible concept of reality. Then the occurrance of Dreams, intensify the representation of emotions, and seep over the boundaries of the spherical novel. Within the blink of an eye lie an infinite amound of possibilities. Random thoughts, an analogy, or just one more chapter to the book of life, however perceive it, add it to the pages as you sift along through life. But the question remains, if all that we see or seem is not a dream, but in actuality a "novel," who is the reader that flips through the pages of our souls?

"It seems that in the Tibetan culture people do not find death a
particularly irritating or difficult situation, but here in the west we often find it extremely difficult to relate to it. Nobody tells us the final truth. It is such a terrible rejection, a fundamental rejection of love, that nobody is really willing to help a dying person's state of mind.
It seems necessary, unless the dying person is in a coma or cannot communicate, that he should be told that he is dying. It may be difficult to actually take such a step, but if one is a friend or a husband or wife, then this is the greatest opportunity of really communicating trust. It is
a delightful situation, that at last somebody really cares about you, somebody is not playing a game of hypocrisy, is not going to tell you a lie in order to please you, which is what has been happeningn throughout your whole life. This comes down to the ultimate truth, it is fundamental trust, which is extremely beautiful. We should really try to generate that
principle."

The Beauty of the Rose
Think of the stem as the road of life--ever bending,
turning and changing, as we walk along life's road.
Think of the rose, as our hearts--delicate and fragile,
slowly healing, and slowly opening,
as time heals our wounds.
Think of the broken petals--as the broken dreams,
broken hearts, and wounded spirits, that have filled our lives.
Think of the growth of the rose, and the opening of the pedals-
as time that passes, as we forget our pains,
and as we grow, and as we experience new joys,
new dreams, new hope, new love, and new friendships.
Think of the fallen petals as growth--
as we learn to let go of the burdens we need not carry
along the way, as we allow our hearts to open again,
our hearts will heal, we will learn to love again,
we will become stronger. Time is a healer
When we can see the beauty of the rose--
we learn to see the beauties of life--that's when we'll know,
we've healed and we've become as beautiful as the Rose.
