Triple Goddess

The Maiden brings the Springtime fair
Flowers in her sunlit hair
Soft rain falls and snow gives way
Birdsong greets each brand new day
The Crone comes and touches all
Winter now replaces Fall
The land sleeps quiet beneath the sky
Awaiting rebirth while time slips by

The Mother gives birth and new life flows
Warm breezes come and bounty grows
Summer shows the Mother's hand
And richness spreads across the land
Then the Maiden comes once more
To start the wheel round as before
Courtship, birth death all come through
As life goes and ends and starts anew.

Harvest reaps and time slows down
Seasons change, leaves all around
Earth readies for Winter rest
The Goddess holds us to her breast
