she gazed at his hand so inviting and warm...
then reached out and took it and felt the strength of his hold.
her eyes searched his face...
for signs of the player...
but found nothing there she needed to fear.
his smile warmed her heart...
his gaze burned her soul...
the light from the circle surrounded her to...
as he caressed her cheek and drew her near.

laying her head upon his strong chest...
he whispered "tsilynn you know this is best".

as she relaxed in his arms...
she examined his words.
he promised her little, and much at the time...

her mind slowly drifted...
and the thought that was there...
