We celebrate the Season of Light in Kindergarten.  Many holidays that take place around the winter solstice involve light in some way.  We read stories about Hannukah, Kwanzaa and Christmas.  We learn about sources of light and how light and shadow work.  We discussed how we can share our "light" with others.  We make hand-dipped candles to exchange with our secret friends.
