"The war is on", 
The saviour of mankind declared, 
"To bring in peace! Mankind! 
"The war is on", 
Yet another declared, 
"To bring in peace! Mankind!" 
And killed many and sent them to heavens, 
To mingle with the stars of martyrdom! 
Fortunate are those departed, 
Recipients of  real peace! Mankind! 
"We've brought peace! Mankind!", 
The saviours of mankind declared, 
"Those are great souls,  
Who sacrificed their lives, 
May their noble souls rest in peace!" 
The living cried for the dead, 
Groaned for relief the wounded, 
And the saviours rested, 
Whilst in peace the departed rested!
