Wini's Encounter

Sky was schedule to be at the 333 Yonge Street HMV on July 14th at 2:30 pm and I just had to be there! =) I lined up (outside the store) at 12:30 with my sister and decided that I would get my US Love Song single signed and my sister would get the poster from the Canadian Love Song single signed (for me). When I finally got inside the store, it was around 2:35 and I was really excited. I saw Antoine first, he was sitting on the right. He was wearing a black tank top and a burgundy baseball cap. James was wearing a beige floppy hat, and a jean jacket with a white T underneath. (I couldn't see their pants or shoes, they were sitting!)

When I got up to the table, Antoine was talking to somebody else while he signed my CD. So I didn't get to talk to him. After James signed my CD, I asked for a hug. =) After he put his arms around me, he said into my ear, "Thanks for coming today" which totally made me melt. =)

I read later that James had a cold because I saw him coughing and he and Antoine left to take a little break. The DJ from the hosting station (Energy 108) said they would be back and would sign more autographs. That's when I got the idea that I would line up again. =) So I did. I got in line again and decided I would get my Canadian Love Song single signed. My sister came back out of the store and lined up with me. I gave her the Piece Of Paradise cover to get signed.

This time I figured I would ask Antoine for a hug, but he said something I couldn't hear, and he grabbed my hand and shook it instead. Better than nothing though. =) I really wanted to say something to James, but after he signed my CD and looked up at me (like, right in my eyes) I was so overwhelmed I forgot what I was going to say. Then the security dragged me away. =(
