James and Antoine, the Montreal-based duo behind Sky, recently received plaques for their first No. 1 song: "Love Song".

The song, from Sky's debut CD Piece of Paradise, topped RPM's Adult Contemporary chart for three weeks, was #1 on RPM's 100 Hit Tracks for two weeks, and on The Record Contemporary Hit Radio chart for one week all during March and April 1999. The song is published by EMI Music Publishing.

SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) is a performing rights society run by Canadian composers, lyricists, songwriters and music publishers. They license the public performance and communication of the world's repertoire of copyright musicial works in Canada and distribute the royalties collected to their members and international affiliated societies.
