Cabo San Lucas An another big partying city in Baja California, after Tijuana. Cabo San Lucas was a quiet little fishing village, now it's considered as a world class resort receiving more than 500'000 tourist a year. There is nothing really Mexican in Cabo San Lucas, you can find the same type of place in the Spanish Costa del Sol, in the Costa Brava, or in some Greek Islands. If you want to come to Baja just for partying, this is "the place". Fishing (sportfishing) is also a good thing to do there. Cabo San Lucas is only at 2 hours drive from La Paz.
