An Account of My Summer '95 Holidays

Summer Holidays '95. The first summer holidays that I actually got some of my goals completed.

Since I failed Math, I was faced with two options: attend summer remedial courses and write the August examination, or do the math during the second semester of the following school year. I thought that doing it next year would be better, since I wanted to use this vacation to catch up on my programming. However, my parents thought that the work load would be too much next year, so it would be better if I did it now. I felt really dumb having to redo math, since I was sure that my friends had passed math and I was capable of passing it also. I felt really embarrassed. But, I decided to go ahead and do the Math. I knew that this was a just reward for me, considering how much work I had put in in Math.

When I went to register, I saw some of my friends there too. Allan and Tony had passed (of course), David got supplementals, and Andy, Asha and Bobby were signing up for the course like me. The total fees came up to costed $470.00 - quite a bit of money. I felt pretty bad since this money and the money we would be spending on gas would be quite high. All because of some slackness. I resolved to get my money's worth by passing with flying colours in this examination.
