Day One Of Our Holidays

Today brought to an end the week long suffering that many students were experiencing. Scores of students could be seen rejoicing at the completion of their end-of-term examinations. For many, there was still one final examination to write, Mathematics - Paper One. But as one student put it, "Man, dah paper so easy, we could consider we holiday start a'ready." So happy they were that many seemed to lose their sense of judgement; numerous jolly youths could be seen flocking to local arcades, popping their money into beeping, cash gobbling machines, pressed a few buttons for a few minutes, feeling thoroughly thrilled, until it flashed in bold letters on the screen 'GAME OVER: Please insert a coin for continued game play', to which they would respond by either following the instructions, or start banging the buttons in a vain attempt to short circuit the machine. Others were quite content with a beer, or two, or three, or ten. One thing is certain: these youths are really gonna revel themselves insane during this eight weeks. For all the torment they encountered during the term, they're really gonna have fun this holidays, their way.
