Pocahontas was the daughter of a Native American chief. The Disney movie made about her showed her life in America. She saved the English colonist John Smith's life and so she became friends with the English colonists.
Pocahontas's father had taken some English colonists as captives. So Pocahontas was tricked into captivity by two English colonists. Her name was changed to Rebecca.
During her captivity, Pocahontas met John Rolfe. John Rolfe fell in love with her, and they got married.
