Dolphins
Dolphins are my favorite animals. They are so smart and so bright. They have the echolocation of bats,
and can fly out of the water. Indians and others who lived on the coasts of North America would call
them "creatures of god". Dolphins have a natural bright and cheerful nature, and almost nothing scares
them or makes them unhappy. They are the most well known mammals that live underwater, and you can find
them in almost any zoo. Dolphins are my favorite animals because of a couple of reasons but mainly
because of their determination, optimisim, and because of their sweet, playful nature. Dolphins will
never back down to a challenge. They are smart and fierce. When in groups, dolphins are known to attack
and charge sharks that might appear to threaten them. The only creature that the dolphin truly fears
constantly is the orca, or killer whale. The killer whale is actually a cousin of the dolphin. Talk
about family problems! But besides the occasional threats from its cousin, the dolphin has proven
again and again what a brave creature it is. A dolphins mind is rarely "angry". It mainly feels happy.
It does have other emotions, but it is mainly playful, and sees almost everything as a game. When you
see dolphins jumping and leaping in the water, it's usually a race. They are so sweet and playful, and
very very intelligent. Some people say that we come from animals. If that's true, I would rather we come
from dolphins just because they are so amazing!
