Sat refers to God since HE is , exists always unbounded by past, present and future and is not limited by time. He is eternal.
- 52. Chit
- It is derived from the root chit meaning to have consciousness, to know, to inform.
God is chit since HE has consciousness , and imparts souls true knowledge
of right and wrong.
- 53. Sachidananda
- It is a compond of sat , chit and ananda.
God is called as sachidananda because HE is truly eternal, consious, and blissful.
- 54. Nitya
- God is called Nitya since HE never ceases to be. He is eternal , constant, permanent , and immortal.
- 55. Shudha
- It is derived from the root shundh meaning to purify.
God is called shudh as HE is pure and free from impurities and purifies others.
- 56. Buddha
- It is derived from the root budh meaning to know.
Buddha refers to God since HE always knows all and enlightens souls.
- 57. Mukta
- It is derived from the root muchlri meaning to free , emancipate.
Mukta refers to God since HE is free from any bondage and frees or emancipates souls from binding impurities , sins and sufferings.
- 58. Nirakara
- It is derived from nir meaning nil, without and akar meaning form , body or shape.
Nirakar refers to God because He has no form or body nor is HE ever embodied.
- 59. Niranjana
- It is derived from preposition nir meaning without , nil and the root anjna meaning form, stained.
Niranjana refers to God since He is without any evil conduct and immoral desire and is thus untainted. The various senses like eyes do not grasp Him as their object since HE has no form.
- 60. Ganapati
- It is deerived from the root gana meaning sum , number and pati meaning Lord, master , governor .
Ganapati refers to God since He is the master of aggregates ,flock or group of people.

- It is derived from the words vishva meaning universe or all , entire and the world Ishwara meaning lord or master.
Vishveshwara refers to God because HE is the lord of the entire universe.

- Kutastha refers to God as HE is immovable , perpetually the same, undergoes no transformation even while HE pervades all and is the mainstay of all.
- 64. Devi
- It is derived from the root div meaning to operate , desire to win , practise, illuminate , praise, please, punish ,sleep ,desire ,pervade and to know.
God is addressed in all the three genders .God is called Dev in masculine gender and Devi in feminine gender because HE operates by His own powers without assistance , desires and helps the noble and righteous to win, provides all means of performance and accomplishment, knows everything and is just , is self luminous and enlightens all, is worthy of praise, is blissful and showers bliss on others , is in perpetual bliss and gladdens others. He rests souls in the primeval elementary matter prakriti during the state of dissolution. His wish is noble. The holy and good desire and seek Him who pervades all and knows all.

- It is derived from the root shaklri meaning power.
Shakti refers to God as HE is omnipotent and has the capacity to create the universe.
- 66. Shree
- It is derived from the root shrin meaning to worship , devote oneself to.
God is referred to as Shree since HE is worshipped and devotionally served by all , the learned, saints, sages and seers.
- 67. Lakshmi
- It is derived from the root laksh meaning to mark , to see, to notice , to characterise or distinguish.
Lakshmi refers to God since HE sees the entire universe and makes it noticeable , endows all animate and inanimate in the universe with their distinguishing mark and features like bodies with eyes etc., trees with leaves , fruits and flowers, liquids and solids with colours , earth with dust and rocks , sun, moon etc.. He is the splendour of the beauty , and He is the implied expression and significance of the Vedas, the Yogis and the wise.

- It is derived from the root sri meaning to know.
Saraswati refers to God because He has diverse and infinite knowledge of words, objects and the relations between these objects and words and their usage.
- 69. Saravashaktiman
- Sarvashaktiman refers to God since all powers reside in Him and He does not require the help of another to accomplish His works and by His own innate capacity and power performs His work.
- 70. Nyayakari
- It is derived from the word nyaya which is formed from the root Nin meaning to reach , to lead to.
Nyaya means that which is proved to be true by all kinds of evidence, and the dispensation of justice without favour or partiality. Nyayakari refers to God since He by nature practises Nyaya --truth , justice and righteousness.

Dayalu refers to God as HE is compassionate , gives fearlessness, has the knowledge of right and wrong , protects the good , and hurts the wicked appropriately.

and controls them all.

- One who shines in righteousness and who glorifies only righteousness and is untainted by wrong.
- 74. Yama
- It is derived from the root yamu meaning to refrain , cease or stop.
Yama refers to God since HE establishes the just order for awarding the fruits of actions and is untouched by injustice.

Bhagwan is referred to as Bhagwan since HE is possessed of all the divine affluence, might and power and is worthy of worship and reverence.

Kala refers to God as he counts and classifies all objects and beings.
- 80. Shesha
- It is derived from the root shishlri meaning to remain after , to distinguish.
Shesha refers to God as HE remains even after creation as well as dissolution.

God is called Shankara because HE confers happiness , comfort and prosperity and grants well being.

- It is composed of maha meaning great and deva.
Mahadeva refers to God as HE is greatest among the the good , learned and is light of the luminous objects like sun.
- 84. Priya
- It is derived from the root prani meaning to please, to desire.
God is priya because HE gladdens the good , righteous and the salvation seekers , and is worthy of our desire and seeking.
- 85. Swayambhu
- It is composed of the word swayam meaning self and bhu meaning to be.
God is self existent. HE has no creator.
- 86. Kavi
- It has been derived from the root ku meaning word, to sound, to hum.
Kavi refers to God since HE is the preceptor of all knowledge through his word , the Vedas and is omniscient.
- 87. Shiva
- It is derived from the root shivu meaning to bless, to do good , to promote welfare.
Shiva refers to God since HE is all blissful and blesses all and does good to all.
