Welcome to the world of Online Learning!
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Computer and Information Sciences at Nova Southeastern University. I am currently working for Strayer University and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
I received a MS in Information Systems from Strayer University, a MS in Transportation Management with a Transportation Engineering emphasis, and a BS in Civil Engineering from The University of Seoul.
I worked as a systems engineer for DDC from 1992 to 1995. I was a graduate research assistant at The University of Seoul and developed a model for estimating Passenger Car Equivalent according to Freeway Terrain at the Institute of Metropolitan Studies. I also worked as an assistant manager for Ssangyong Company from 1987 to 1990.
My research interests include the strategic use of information technology, distance education, computer networks, and information systems management and planning. My dissertation research is on determining which information systems disciplines are appropriate in providing more effective way to conduct Strategic Information Systems Planning for future activities.
I am very happy to be at Strayer University and delighted to teach CIS classes at my Alma Mater. Strayer University gave me a solid foundation in today's changing Information Technology field. I know that Strayer University has a strong tradition with practical education that can be applied immediately to the job. Our CIS students exemplify the old Chinese proverb "Be not afraid of going slowly; be only afraid of standing still."
