section of the St Petersburg Times (Saturday edition), it looks forward to further development in

2/5/02: Belief.net does something like this on an internatiional level:
particularly "international" since its site management seems
Asian. The site does run toward being
an anthology of recent and specialized Christian articles, but we may assuse
it is ready to think Buddhist at the drop of a hat (or should I say
"miter." This strategy
contrasts particularly with Churches in 2 respects. |

regional, not occupational. That is,
you get to it first by thinking of "Tampa Bay" (near the top), not
"Christianity" (where my site could be maybe a thousand items
out). |

means deliberateky to be denominationaly-inclusive, in the sense that they
are merely an identifiable "flavor.". That is, it goes to the thinking in Parsons that treats denominations as institutionalized
religion's evolutionary contribution to
self-government, such being an element of social
trust even more a mere reflection of our pluralistic tendencies. |
