KIRKEHOJSKOLE (3 DAYS ABOUT CHRISTIANITY IN PAST AND PRESENT)

"Kirkehojskole" continues in the spring of 2003 with 3 days about Christianity in the Past and in the Present. Our church is called a Danish, a Lutheran, and a church. It means that we must be aware of all three sides of our church. First of all, that we are a church, with roots back to the Bible (The Old and The New Testaments), next that we are a Lutheran church with strong roots in Denmark. In the "Kirkehojskole" I will try to focus on the three aspects of our church. The first day (March 30, 2003) I will give an introduction to The Old Testament and also tell about the connection to The New Testament. The second day (April 27, 2003) we will work with The New Testament and the story of Jesus. The third and last day (May 25, 2003) we will look at our Lutheran and Danish tradition. What does it mean to be a Lutheran congregation with Danish roots? And how do we express this in the modern world?

"Kirkehojskole" is an offer to all, who want to know more about Christianity. "Kirkehojskole" will follow service and lunch on 3 Sundays (12:45 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.)
