Resolution 214 of Gallifreyian Law, compiled on the 24th of the 8th in 26

                                    TS

Resolution 214:

Section (a)

(i) Gallifreyian legal status is understood to be derived from the birth place of the individual concerned. The birthplace being Gallifrey, Time Lord rank may be applied, subject to compliance with Resolution 54B, sections 2 and 3. If these are seen as just and applicable, one is technically a Time Lord and therefore required by Gallifreyian law to uptake the process of restricting oneself in certain actions, detailed in subsection one. Failure to comply with this requirement could lead to one's dismissal as a Time Lord of Gallifrey.

(ii) If, and only if, all members entering a TARDIS have permission to do so by rightful entry, thereby officially submitting themselves to sections B and D of Resolution 214 of Gallifreyian Law. If the entry in not rightful then the person is liable for prosecution under the TARDIS Theft Act TA 26 as well as this resolution.

(iii) As a participant in a TARDIS flight it is your duty to oversee that actions taken are responsible towards the space-time continuum and the space-time vortex and towards other occupants of space-time.

Section (b)

(i) Interference with a time wave before your time whatever your position, rank or home may be, is strictly forbidden, unless the interference is an attempt to rectify interference already made, in which case permission from the Gallifreyian High Court must be obtained forthwith.

(ii) It is allowed to intervene in the cause of good against evil if the time line the intervention is taking place is temporally ahead of the interferers time wave. This only applies to occupants of a time machine whose personal time lines are before the space-time event to be altered.

Section (c)

(i) The rules and regulations laid down in this resolution can equally apply to non Time Lords. The Gallifreyian High Court will decide in such cases the punishment and reprimanding necessary for the crimes committed.

(ii) The Time Lords of Gallifrey reserve the right to uphold order in space-time and to reserve the right in the case of a 75% majority to intervene in history if such cases are necessary for the well being of the universe. This right enables section B, section one and two to be dismissed upon command from the president of Gallifrey, unless he overruled by the high council (Respect Resolution 201, all sections, TS 24), in which case the high council may make the decision. The Time Lords Of Gallifrey uphold the position of Supreme and High Court for all space-time crimes and events of universal injustice.

Section (d)

(i) The Laws of time, drawn up in TA 25, must be acknowledged and followed at all time.

Signed

Lord President of Gallifrey, TA 26.
