Marcie was in love with Chase ever since she was a kid, but to Chase, she was just plain old "Goosie". She was driving his pregnant wife, Tanya, home, when they met with an accident. Tanya died, and Marcie's condition was critical.
Marcie wanted to give Chase everything that he lost, but he disappeared. She met him again when he was in a rodeo. She helped him home when he broke his ribs. She knew that he needed money to keep his family business going, and he did not want money from a non-family member, so she proposed marriage. After much thought, he agreed.
He liked his married life with Marcie, but he felt cheated when he found out that the house he was living in was the same one Tanya saw the day she died. He left Marcie. She had anonymous calls, even more often after Chase left. They were becoming more threatening. When Chase returned, he was shocked to find her in a terrified state.
He brought the matter to a family friend, who was also the sheriff. She knew that the man thought that she was making up all these. Chase realised that Marcie was in grave danger, only on the night Lucky's wife, Devon, was giving birth. He was given a list of names of people who called his house. One was Marcie's client, and she was showing him a house that night.
He arrived in time to stop the pervert from raping her. He saw there was blood, and she told him she was pregnant. He realised that he actually loved her when he was so afraid of losing her.
