my sister's family were making efforts to decorate the house for Christmas. This was a very difficult time for them, because when my sister was alive she had always loved to prepare the house for the festivities and had, over the years, collected all sorts of precious Christmas tree decorations - which were hung on the tree every year. However, the box of decorations could not be found. The house was searched thoroughly, but to no avail. As you can imagine, the family were very distressed.

The next day, on entering the laundry room, which had been searched from top to bottom, they were dumbfounded to find the box of decorations sitting on the bench!
