Is this another BIG LIE?

"With the exception of Native Indians, everybody in Canada (or U.S.A.) are immigrants."

This is a ridiculous propaganda statement invented and promoted by multicultural fanatics who've brainwashed real immigrants and their native-born hosts into believing this feel-good, oxymoronic baffle-gab.

Immigrants [to Canada and U.S.] are born in countries other than Canada (or U.S.A) while the Canadian-born (American-born) is self-explanatory [are not immigrants].

Reponse from Polemiks@aol.com:

Could this "lie" be made true by amending it as follows?

"With the exception of Native Indians, everybody in Canada (or U.S.A.) are immigrants or descendants of recent immigrants."

("recent" meaning within the last 600 years). And would this amended version then serve the purpose intended by the multiculturalists?

The meaning is: We should be nice and tolerant and accepting toward immigrants because our ancestors were immigrants. Where would you be if your great great grandparents had been turned away? Etc.
