A Bedouin tent made of woven goat hair shows something of the lifestyle that might have been followed by the patriarchs and later shepherds.
The front faces East and is opened at sunrise to allow the early morning sun to warm the tent after the cold desert night. During the heat of the day the back and sides can be rolled up to allow cooling breezes to pass through the tent. |
