Angels of the Second Sphere
The second sphere angels concern themselves with the governing of a specific planet, as well as those angels assigned tasks below them. These angels flow in an intensity of power. They also carry out the orders they get from the angels of the first sphere. Second sphere angels deal with the cosmos and its interconnectedness. The second sphere angels are the Dominions, the Powers, and the Virtues.
Dominions
The Dominions fill the role of divine leaders whose efforts involve integrating the material and spiritual, without losing control. They carry emblems of authority, such as scepters and orbs. The prince of this order is either Hashmal or Zadliel. Dominion is the name of the oldest angel. Other angels mentioned are Muriel and Zacharael. Magickally, all issues of leadership fall under the control of the Dominions. They are the epitome of the law of cause and effect, and are very precise in their working. Dominion angels bestow natural leadership, and work to ensure that humans are happy and healthy under that leadership. They don't approve of corrupt governments, politicians, or church or civic leaders who do not have the best interests of the people at heart. If you wish to access divine wisdom, ask the Dominions. they are perfect mediators and arbitrators. Powers
The Powers keep track of human history. The angels of birth and death belong to this lineage. They organize the worlds religions and send divine energy to keep the positive aspects of them going. They function as regulators of chaos. The Powers are the angels of warning and will send you nessages when someone is out to harm you. These messages may come in many ways: feelings, dreams, or plainly, in bits of conversation. This means that you must calm the inner chatter and listen to what these angels are telling you. They work through the human sixth sense, accessing it to get us to listen to them. The chief of the Powers is Ertosi. Also mentioned as leaders are Sammael and Camael. Other angels in this category are Gabriel and Verchiel.
Magically, they are warrior angels, and you should call them when you are in trouble. The Powers are excellent at ferreting out hidden agendas that are designed to serve only one ego and harm others. They will assist whenever you think someone is throwing the proverbial wool over your eyes. These angels will defend your home, property, children, or any group who call on them for protection and defense. Virtues
The Virtues' primary job is to move mass quantities of spiritual energy to the earth plane and the collective human consciousness. Known as the "miracle angels," they bestow grace and valor. The chief of the Virtues Pi-Rhe. The ruling princes of the order are Michael, Raphael, Barbiel, Haniel, Hamaliel, Tarshish, Peliel, Sabriel, and Uzziel.
Virtues are especially fond of those who try to go beyond their capabilites to achieve more than everyone says they can. they love go-getters and positive people who try to enlighten and lead others toward harmony.
the Virtues are the spirits of movement, working and guiding the elemental energies that affect our planet. Earth, air, fire, water, spirit, weather patterns, and planetary upheavals associated with the elements fall under the auspices of the Virtues. These are the angels of nature.
