REMEMBER
This is my Sept. 11th page.
The following are a series of musings about events of the 11th as they have unfolded here in Washington, and the nation's capital geared up to fight the war on terrorism. A war, which unfortunately all too often would hit close to home, in particular for me; I had been laid off a full-time job, and was filling in with short-term positions to pay bills, one of which for a month had me wearing latex gloves and opening irradiated mail during the anthrax outbreak.
Some of these are written by me, usually as emails to friends. Some are collections of articles from various news sources. One is even a tribute placed on a hillside behind the Pentagon, overlooking the damaged wing.
