Welcome To The The Truth That Rox The World
Our Mission:
For the last four years I have tried to use this space as a showcase for the
creative potential within each of us.
I have specifically avoided flashy presentations, trying to focus on substance
rather than style. Some of this had to do with the fact that until recently I
was dealing with relatively dated hardware. Given this I know first-hand what a
pain in the ass it is trying to load image-heavy pages. Also I feel at my core
that while visual creativity is to be commended, the Web seems inundated with a
lot of "Wow" sites that are hot for a few weeks, then slowly fade into
obscurity.
I have with the help of my generous, humorous and immensely faithful friends
tried to create a home away from home for us, as well as provide a forum for
both myself and them to express what is in our hearts and minds.
I think we all possess within us a heart screaming to speak, and have tried to
shape a space where all can feel comfortable expressing with honesty their
feelings, their humor, but more than all else, themselves. The nightmare of the
web is that we can sometimes lose ourselves in the anonymity of cyberspace.
Hopefully "The Truth" will help all who visit to reclaim and expose both their
individuality and humanity to the WWW.
I feel that life is dynamic by nature, and as such so is this space. For the
next several months (or at least until college football starts back up) I will
be trying to update this space for ease of navigation and content. I know for
the purists this may sound a death knell, but I'm even trying to learn Flash and
am trying to work on streaming media as well (primarily for the Pompous
Bastard). In this latest update I've added an IT-oriented page, and am still
trying to get off my ass and work on my recipe file.
If YOU think of something cool we can add, send me an email at the address
below.

A little love from me to you all:
Thanks to Julie R. for
helping me break free from quatrains and contrived diction and allowing me to
become more creative, and more myself; and despite my whining, for helping me to
become more of a modernist in my style.
Thanks to Tom H. for caring enough to be honest and for telling me that a lot of
what I write needs work; and for trying to help my form and structure, and for
trying to get me to use metaphors more effectively and creatively while making
me give classical work more attention.
Thanks to Dr. Jane S. for sharing her love of writing and literature, and for
giving me the desire to explore the world and express what is in my heart, as
lame as it sometimes is.
Thanks to the Society Of Jesus for helping me to look critically at reality, and for cramming my head so full of knowledge that it still hasn't all come out, and for giving me the confidence to say what needs to be said; and most of all, for helping me try to become a man for others and live A.M.D.G. 24/7. Thanks to everyone at Lutheran Outdoor Ministries and Mt. Cross. You were the first to hear what my heart had to say. The beauty of the MC experience continues to inspire me, and I wish that everyone had the opportunity to live in a world where Love drives reality.
Thanks to my friends who have all played a part in shaping who I now am, and are all now a part of what I write. You all have touched me whether you know it or not.
Special Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa C. for living their faith every day,
and for loving me when most everyone else gave up; and for being there when Mom
needed your love.
Most Special Thanks to Mom, Dad and Julie giving the love, support, insight and
inspiration that allows me to look at the world around me and stand back in awe
at each sunrise.
Email me at at the address below for content suggestions and any helpful hints on how to make this site dominate. Please come back soon and help build a creative dynasty for the future.
