You are so free;
go where you want
soaring above us
over land and sea.

Few of us here
even notice
you up there
so gracefully.

You hover on high
climb or dive
whenever you want,
why can't we?

Though we try
to be like you,
we build things
that only pollute.

While you can flee
whenever you want,
most of the time
you stay near us.

We all have turmoil
here below you,
I doubt that you
have any at all.

You seldom fight
or act hatefully,
why cant we be
more like thee.
