Reality and Mass Consciousness
by Ra-Harakhte

Since each community is made up of individuals, each brings their own unique thoughts and beliefs to the table which inevitably bring about occurrences which will affect the community en masse. If certain thoughts run through the populace that are generally the same in nature and intensity, an event or reflection of such ideas will naturally occur. For instnace, everyone always expects distrust with other members of the community, then they are shocked to hear their neighbor has been murdered or the church down the street has been set on fire. A more simpler example is everyone dwelling on "it's probably going to rain." Then they get upset because it does. Do I dare even say what the community might be like if the majority believed everyone was born a bunch of sinners?

One of the most misunderstood moments in our lives is when a great cataclysm happens, whether it be an earthquake, flood, or tornado. These massive events are generated by the thoughts, attitudes and beliefs of the people who encounter them. This, of course, sounds ridiculous, but not when you look at it from this point of view:

Communites and people throughout the world believe that we need to all come together and help our fellow human beings. Learn not to judge but see the others as like ourselves. There are so many different variables, both positive and negative, that when given the proper amount of thought and intensity, events like an earthquake inevitably bring those changes and scenarios. Unfortunately, many great people give their lives to it, to be the dead that inspire the change in the participants left alive to deal with the aftermath.

California is a great example, for a couple of reasons. One, everyone believes it will "fall into the ocean because of the earthquakes." Already, we pre-suppose that an earthquake is going to happen. This will set an event in motion. And secondly, the tensions that run through the area, namely the cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Bevery Hills, are so intense, so "fractured" that the mass of energy released from the millions and millions of people grows, builds, until an event such as an earthquake occurs. Science lays it down to plate tectonics, but it is really plate tectonics in conjunction with mass thoughts, beliefs, and emotions that are released every hour of every day. Imagine if everyone in the world were in conflict, distrust, dis-ease and were releasing that energy every day, what kind of world would we have? You don't need to wonder . . . Just look around.

Conflict will never cease until we learn we are all the same, on the same path, reaching for the same goals. Mass consciousness creates mass reality -- and we must go to each individual to change it.

Let's Change It!
