Welcome to the Geography page. The two red dots on the map mark locations for which I have pages. (Canada and Great Britain at the moment.) In future, I will put the articles for the locations right on this page.

In Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada (where I come from), we have an annual festival called Folklorama that celebrates all the different cultures present in this city. It is held in the summer and is a huge two-week event, drawing tourists from the States. It is in the form of various "pavilions", one for each culture, which are held in venues all across the city. At each pavilion you can enjoy food, entertainment and cultural displays. This event is a wonderful way of celebrating the differences that make us interesting and learning about other cultures. It is in this spirit that I create this page.
