About me, myself, and I: I am a Canadian (from Manitoba) in my 20's, of mostly British ancestry. I am living for the time being in England!!!!! I can't believe it sometimes, but I am living in England! I started off in Preston, Lancashire (Preston the Beautiful in my mind), and I am in Leeds now, which has much more job opportunities. I was offered a permanent position 2 weeks after moving to Leeds (actually, I was offered 2 at once. I had to choose. That's never happened in my life.)
I love history, Britain, literature (especially Jane Austen, the Brontes, Sir Walter Scott, etc).
I am interested in computers and science. I also love real music (real music being "Classical", Celtic, etc) . I have played the piano since I was about 7, and I played the French Horn in school. I also love to sing, and I have played the organ and the piano at church. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and will include a page on my religious beliefs for anyone who may be interested in hearing about the Church.
I imagine this website as a sort of virtual village, with a village garden, kitchen, chapel, museum, library, observatory, etc, etc (they're all listed in the frame at the left, so just click on those links to navigate around the village of Clovelly Wood.) The purpose of this site is to give people a place to have fun learning, because I believe that is what the Internet is all about.
I believe that it is important for people to learn and be as educated as possible. I will try to update this site whenever I can (ie. every few months I will look at it, decide what needs to be done, make a detailed list of what needs to be done, and file the list away with all my other lists in one of several piles of miscellany, never to see the light of day again :) I consider this "village" to be my supreme contribution to the improvement of mankind, :P
but it will help me as well, because I will learn by doing it. I don't have some of the sections really set up properly yet, but keep my URL on your list for future visits, please!
