H A P P Y H A L L O W E E N !
(this is a page i'd made several years ago, and just updated for h2k)
I have always loved Halloween! No, I'm NOT in "blackface" in the pix of me as a kid. I was a Jawa (from Star Wars-DUH!) in 1981 or '82...not sure which year (the pic with Jana the gypsy and Dane the bum). Although "trick or treating" is supposed to stop at age 12, I dressed up through the 8th grade. I kinda outgrew dressing up throughout high school (although one year it fell on a football Friday, so I walked to the school in my marching band uniform, collecting treats along the way). College has a way of "immaturing" people. At OSU in 1990 (and again in '91),
I was Robin, the teen wonder. LOL...I was also a Priest in '92 (for another party). In 1993, I made my first (and ONLY!!) foray into the realm of transvestitism, when I donned hose and heels to "become" my ex-girlfriend, Holly! Halloween is an even BIGGER deal down at OU, and in 1994, I was the mighty Green Lantern! I even had the ring, dammit!
In 1995, also at OU, I continued the DC Comics superhero theme with me as the fastest man alive: The Flash! In 1996, I didn't dress up for some reason. But I was back in '97, this time as Han's old buddy from The Empire Strikes Back: Lando Calrissian himself!! In 1998 I didn't dress in costume because I spent Halloween Day at Meredith's wedding. In '99, I dyed my hair black and spiked it up, and even had dark eyeliners around both of my eyeballs! I ended up hanging with Scoa and some folks, and I don't recall us going anywhere.
This year, of course, I was sick and recovering surgery (bleagh), so I just sat in a chair, watched the New York Village Parade (on USA TV), and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" (on VH1), as well as "That 70s Show" and "Titus" on Fox. Woo-hoo! I have truly had many more costumes over the years...and hopefully still will in years to come. I don't recall a lot of the childhood classics, but I can remember being a Rubik's Cube once, and I know I did Frankenstein's Monster and a ghost. I do know that as far as other superheroes, I've done The New Teen Titans' Changeling (1985) and of course The Joker (1989).

Hmmm...I wonder if Tess or Jay Tyler inherited their uncle's penchant for dressing up on Halloween? They've both done a pumpkin for their first ones (a year apart)...AwwwwwwwW! They look as if they're thinking, "I'm related to HIM?!" LOL!!!
