        Cool, dark encompassing night
        You are here friend I feel you in the dark
        A time for thinking, all is forgotten
        I am lost, and I feel welcome
        Sleep beckons, solstice from day
        Refuge from worries, yet it is far away
        Nighttime awakens a shape, a form
        Within me, and I write, and nothing
        Is secret.

        Balance

        Sing of love and sing of hate
        Dance and burn in fires of fate
        Paint the death that colors life
        Find the peace within the strife

        Ying and Yang
        And love and hate
        Burn and build
        Too soon too late

        Weave the tapestry of time
        From red death to make light rhyme
        Die to live and live to die
        Find sweet love in tiger’s eye

        Yin and Yang
        And love and hate
        Burn and build
        Too soon too late

        Scream and cry and laugh and sing
        Fire’s heat will lift the wing
        Night brings death to burning sun
        But in sleep the dreams can come
