Cults and Sects

Heresies, the Occult, and the New Age MovementThis is from Dave Armstrong who has theBiblical Evidence for Catholicismsite.
Transporter Information Service  A site created by Steve Clifford, a convert from The Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints - or Mormons.  I met him recently at the Defending the Faith conference at Franciscan University of Steubenville.  I just wish I had more time to spend with him.  Check out hisdebateswith Mormons.
Defending the Bride John Hellmann created this very good apologetics site. I have used some of his articles for responses and explanations - sometimes, it was the only place I could find the information I needed.

The Deception of Freemasonry

Bishop Law's Letter on Freemasonry As Incompatible with Catholic Faith  The title says it all!  A must read for any Catholic thinking that it's OK to become a Mason.
Declaration on Masonic Organizations  This puts to rest the lie that the Catholic Church allows Masonic membership.
The Masonic Religion  Chapter 5 of "Christianity and American Freemasonry" by William J. Whalen published by Bruce Publishing Company, 1958
The Attack on the Church by Freemasonry  An article I wrote in response to some people online who claimed that there was nothing anti-Christian or anti-Catholic about Freemasonry.  All of the sources come from respected Masonic historians and authors.

Reference Materials

Early Church FathersIf you want to find any Church Father that has been turned into electronic form, he'll be here! Fantastic for research.
Catechism of the Catholic ChurchJust what it says. The only draw back is that there is no way to do a search. If someone has found a CCC that you can search by word, verse, etc., let me know!
Jewish Quotes  Interesting quotes from famous Jewishpeople about Catholicism.
Peter's Net A Catholic search and documentary service of Trinity Communications. A fantastic site to find information for anything Catholic.  They will also rate your site (don't be surprised if they slam you for having links to questionable sites - they will do it).
The Holocaust and the Catholic Church Some very important articles for anyone doing research on the Church's efforts during the war.

Icons
(The religious ones, not the internet ones)

Russian Icons  I found this through one of my searches.  Most of these are pretty old icons - from about the 12th through the 18th centuries.  Some beautiful images of Jesus, the Trinity and the Blessed Mother.
Ukrainian Icons  These I found in theChristus Rexweb site - which I highly recommend.  This takes some time to load, but it is well worth the wait.  The title of this page is "EXHIBITION : Ukrainian Icon In The 11th-16th C.C."
The Book of Kells  This sort of fits in with icons.
The Book of Kells is an illuminated or decorated manuscript of the four Gospels. Its calligraphy and penmanship have earned it a reputation as the most beautiful book in the world.
It was begun at the island monastery of Iona; completed at Kells, Ireland following the Viking invasion of 805. The manuscript was stolen in 1007. Later recovered, it remained at Kells until the 17th century when Henry Jones, Cromwell's chief of intelligence gave it to Trinity College, Dublin, where it may still be seen.
The text is St. Jerome's Vulgate with the Old Latin readings and features. Over the years many monks must have been employed copying the text in calligraphic Irish hand and in a compressed script for the passages to the Gospels.
OnLine Icons  I just found this site while I was looking for a good image to put as the background of this page.
Religious Images and Icons, and Art OK, for you die-hards, this site has links to groups like the SDA, Mormons and Mennonites.   I thought I'd warn you. I am linked to it for the art, not for the heresy.
