Many of the basic ideas for Clan Tharkold were taken from a now-defunct pen and paper rpg called Torg by West End Games. They still hold the copyrights on everything related to the game, so i wanted to give them their proper credit. Any of the names I have used in my background that are not Astaria related belong to West End Games, such as Tharkold, Thratchen, and the Gaunt Man. Any of the basic settings for the stories come out of a Torg game, such as the storm that changes Devin, the idea of possibilities, and the cyberdemons. All of the ideas I came up with for the stories are mine and mine alone. Just the setting is a Torg campaign world. A little bit different setting in that it is on a Mud and not irl. No dice or pencils or cards. The players are virtual.
