For a Love Remembered

I can still feel your cold sweat dripping down my back.
Your breath still moves across my neck as if searching for my kiss.
The sheet feathers my bottom, a result from you absence.
My body's skin is haunted,
Phantomised by your arms,
hugging me so tight I gladly give up life's breath.
The Dream I remember, your strong hands enclosing me.
Stars in your eyes, down from the heavens to stare into mine.
The Howl of Moon's Night on your lips.
Your sun-warmed metallic skin erasing my chill.
I look for you in the night, the morning light destroying our shadows
bringing a new reality,
the reality I Have to live with,
that no matter how our love transcends the boundaries
Space and Time will go on,
Tearing us apart,
Leaving us memories
of a time
a night
a true whole love
I can never have.
