Comments: Well, I'm one of those who was sucked into the Titanic-mania by the Cameron movie, and now I feel like I should be begging forgiveness for not being an aficionado from the start! Anyway, while I was seeing the movie, I was thinking that nearly all aspect of it were excellently done, but Thomas Andrews quickly became the character I cared about the most, and I was disappointed when he didn't get more screen time than I'd expected. I thought, regretfully, "Too bad these movies romanticize everything and e eryone. Nobody could possibly be that sympathetic and heroic." Nevertheless, I was interested in finding out more about the real Andrews, so I did some reading and was pleasantly surprised to find out, from this and other sources, that Andrews was indee a truly courageous, talented and heroic man, every bit as sympathetic as the movie suggested. Congratulations on an excellent site about a true hero. I'll be looking for updates!

Comments: The sinking of the RMS Titanis was such an horrific event as well as a terrible tradegy. The movie was absolutely incredible, and the writer/director picked up on everything to make it seem so personal and real to the viewer. I saw it in the theater, an it was an experience I will never forget. It still makes me cry not just because of the ill-fated love story involved, but the disaster itself.

Comments: I took my children this afternoon to the historical Titanic exhibit at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax. We went in part as a means of paying tribute, not only to those who perished in this disaster, but also those so recently killed in the wiss Air disaster just off our coast last week. This has been a very sobering time for we maritimers. We see so many disasters in our history because of our fateful location on the preeminent transatlantic route. I was thrilled to find your site honoring ne of the unsung heroes of the Titanic. In these disasters we hear so much of the death and destruction. Comments: I just wanted to say "Thank You"! I too have developed a fascination with Thomas Andrews. From the first time that I saw, James Cameron's Titanic, I just fell in love with how Victor Garber portrayed Thomas Andrews. I honestly didn't have much of an inte est with Titanic. It all started back in 96' with Cyberflix released their interactive game. "Titanic, An Adventure Out of Time". Once I played it, I was hooked and now I just can't learn enough about Titanic and those who sailed on her. Again, I just wan ed to thank you creating a web site in memory of Mr. Andrews. Comments: Different movie, a Night To Remember, 1950's style of titanic movie. They've come along way in producing better movies to give you the feel of being on a sinking ship. Andrews May have designed this ship, and he went down with her, but all of this could h ve been avoided if it we're not for the Master of the ship, the owner of the ship, JP Morgan, the designer Mr Andrews. The metal that was used was poorly designed, it had fatigued in the frigic waters. The point all seem to be missing is that 1500 people ied for the sake of a buck! That's right folks, people are killed everyday for the buck!

Comments: I lucked up on your web page after doing some general "Titanic" surfing over the web, and I'm glad I did. I had a feeling someone, somewhere had finally devoted some web space to this great man. I became interested in Thomas Andrews when I was a kid, and aw "A Night to Remember" on TV in the early 70's. I remember coming away from that movie thinking what a tragic man this was, & then trying to find any tiny bit of material I could on what made him the way he was. Cameron's movie only re-introduced him to me, so I was thrilled to find your site. Excellent job...very professional, and I've already bookmarked you so I can visit again in the future. Keep up the great work...You've really made Thomas Andrews come alive again.
