Well,
I wanted to go OCS to learn more things........crazy huh?? some might say....but
I thought I had a good chance being a student counsellor(actually I was
a CT counselor but they didn't had such an option so they put as student
counselor), bowling club president and having IPPT(fitness test) gold.
But in the end I ended up at SOS(school of signals).......sad but happy
cos signals was the loboest(laziest) course there is for pes B personnels......when
I went to SOS.....they had too many people......220 of us in fact and they
could only accommodate 110.....so they asked for those who had gold and
silver awards for IPPT.......I knew something was wrong so I didn't volunteered.......(luckily
I didn't or else my whole life will change...in the end these people went
to the hell ground 3 sig battalion....) so I went to 3 sig bn to lobo
(do fatigue/odd jobs).
Even as a lobo we had a hard time.......we were doing work the entire day
without rest sometimes we had to stay back until 1000 to do their work.......jialat.....!!
anyway I enjoyed myself cause it was there I met some nice friends like
Jason, Chronos, Calvin, Eugene,.........we always partied at discos and
pubs and had lots of fun...... It was only for 2 months that we loboed
and then we went for the SOS course...........:(
Well......it
so happened that my platoon sergeant was Koh Weili a church friend of mine
but now no longer in church......and my Platoon commander was from our
church's other center.....PRCC(Pasir Ris Christian Church) Well, this didn't
helped me cos they bully me......:( I was radio i/c and bunk i/c at the
same time.......) the radio was a big problem cause things always go missing.
We draw radio sets by the dozen and with all the small parts it was hard
to keep track.......I always had something missing each time I draw.......aarggghh!!
*dun know why* but anyway my PC helped me a lot to cover all the loses....or
else we had to pay a large sum....... it was a really headache time but
I still loved it......... I was quite worried that I would go back to 3
sig bn as they said that most probably we will go to the unit which we
loboed.........:( but luckily I didn't and I ended up in 10SIB SIGNAL COMPANY.......where
I am at now.....:)
FFFPPPEEEWWHHH......for
a moment I thought I was dead.....my whole life in army would be running
IPPT, SOC and doing fatigue..... But God bless I am now enjoying myself
and going to ORD soon in 280798!! Here, we have lots and lots of time for
ourselves........nothing to do really except for an occasional fatigue
and exercise.........most of the time we are in our bunk.......*bored*....so
we started playing games.....the first one was risk........crasy man I
think we are the only unit which has so much time to play risk that we
can play 2 games a day or 3 even!!.. After a while, we were kind of bored
with it.......so we started playing carrom.... then we got bored of it
again then we played 'magic the gathering' it was really fun we played
whole day and whole night. But there was a problem...... the cards had
many creepy creatures and words that are creepy too....like armagadon,
matyrldon, vampires....... so that started a debate all together.....I
like to thank Joel who brought me out of the game as he told me the psychological
cognitation to playing such games.......Eng Chiun Shiun was the person
who spearhead the attack...... he was anti-christian doctrine and questioned
me a lot about christianity........ I had a tough time then as Eng wouldn't
leave me alone......(want to read more about this?? go to my testimony)but
anyway everything turned out fine........then we started playing cards........that
one was quite jialat as I got 1 extra from playing with poker cards....
(and 2 for not going for breakfast........that one not fair!!) anyway,
we stopped for a while as it was too dangerous to play with poker cards........but
someone *dun know who* came up with this ingeniuos plan which saved our
lives until now.....that is to use UNO cards as playing cards......the
0 is a 10 and the DRAW TWO was a king and the SKIP was a queen and the
REVERSE was a jack. We played 'big 2' all the time until we were bored
then I introduced them bridge and later hearts.....and that was history.......we
played that few games until now...........

now
that U know a bit of my history......want to know what I do in my free
time??......
