Thinking About Neil Young

This is really just a test of sorts. Although if I thought about it more, I could probably fill a lot of space by ranting about all the ideas in my head that somehow pertain to Neil Young. I saw him play once, you know. That was certainly worth doing, even if the tickets were $40. His encore was at least as long as his opening set, which made me wonder just how much human fingers can withstand, plugging away at that guitar for so long, night after night. Imagine the sheer and simple joy of playing and performing, and having such a vast, varied, and appreciative audience. So I must say, that was a remarkable time. Even more remarkable, however, is the presence that Neil seems to enjoy in the music world. It is nice to perceive such an acceptance and appreciation for true musical passion and talent, in an industry often plagued with less-than-honourable pretenses. [I may decide to expand upon this at some point...]
