As our headteacher and deputy headteacher were very positive about the project too, we send an application to the Danish Comenius office. We were then able to start the project in August '99.
The teachers in Hammel who were interested in the project were given english-classes in year four. The two class-teachers in year one, who were also English-teachers, took care of the links between the youngest classes. During the three years we have worked with several different topics and the pupils have, together with their teachers, been busy with and engaged in finishing the projects before deadline, and we were all looking forward to receiving the next project from our partners in England and Italy. We have also enjoyed great interest and backing from the parents.
