About the project..
A positive aspect to my mind has been the broadening of horizons for all staff. It has made them question their own practice and introduced them to different ideas and approaches. In some instances it has re-inforced their own ideas and others it has caused them to make changes. It has illustrated the value of links with other countries, teachers and pupils and the extent to which they can be used to enhance the curriculum. It has emphasised how easy it is to make friendships and establish relationships and how this helps understanding and consideration for other people's point of view. It has underlined the importance of tolerance. |
