The main impact of the project is:
that pupils have gained a broader knowledge and understanding of a wider world. Teachers are more open minded about different teaching methods and education systems. This in turn has given the teachers the opportunity to reflect on their own teaching performance.
The social value of these projects is extremely valuable- new friendships formed .
Difficulties have been encountered due to language barriers and a lack of understanding about the nature of these projects when changes of senior personnel happened at one school. All problems were overcome. |
