Disregarded: The reason why we place the wedding ring on the left hand on the "ring" finger.
Truth: It was thought a major vein ran straight from that finger directly to the heart. Creating a bond from heart to heart. The ring being a circle with no seams was to symbolize that the love each had for the other had no beginning and no ending, as is the circle of life. The vowels where placed in to the ring making it a fetish.

Commonly unknown: The fingers hold all of the powers of the five elements and you can use those instead of other objects of power or concentration.
Thumb= water, Ring finger=earth, Pinky=Air, Middle finger=spirit, Index finger=fire
(I am saying this with the understanding that everyone knows the difference between the power and the receptive hand. But the power had is the one you write with and the one you put out energies with and that is the one you should use to do your magik with)

Why we use are middle finger to "flip someone off"
Since the middle finger is spiritual you can actually either be cursing that persons spirit or you can be saying: "Up the spiritual baby"

Uses of the words Common Era and Before Common Era!
The common and normal terminology is BC and AD These are the Christian terms to state a time frame, where as CE and BCE are used for the same purpose with the same dates in mind. The difference here is that for the non-Christian, scientist and politically correct people. They prefer to use these terms. Not to diminish the Christian belief or to deny it. But to keep out the religious aspect altogether. (I personally use these terms)
