A paraphrase inspired by the verses linked with the anchor you have just activated:-

  • Watching the sun rising from the east over the horizon, or peeping its waking face over the hills, is a thrilling sight, not easily forgotten.

No matter the season, though one may have a preference for seasonal timing, the scene is simply spectacular. And what is even more impressive is the fact that this same revival is re-enacted every single morn, in the same way as it has done for millions of years.

  • And this is the only combustion that can regenerate itself continuously, with no signs of weakening. If only humans can acquire the secret and do away with burning fuel for energy. A myriad beneficial consequences will follow.

Of course, the sun neither rises nor sets. Galileo gave up his freedom for this belief.

  • Yet, for all intense and purposes, it looks like the ancient idiom, rising and setting, has been so well ingrained that both are still points of daily reference, and little literary importance is given to the earth’s spacial and axial movements.

Because talking about the sun rising and setting is more sentimental and romantic. Singers sing a thousand song inspired by sunrise, poets find the subject inspirational, musicians praise the phenomena by their celestial compositions, and painters immortalize it on their canvas.

  • Early risers are charged positive for a stored long hard day’s work, love and play. They seem to perform better when they are “up with the early day-break sun.” Indeed, it is a time fit for a journey’s start.

And when the toils are over, and the pains or thrills of commitment take a back position on the stage of human activities, the comfort of ones’s abode restores energies for yet another sunrise. Some narrate the day’s adventures, or the lack of them, to an attentive audience, or evaluate works done in view of what always remains to be carried out!

  • But it is always joy, health and happiness, in various degrees depending on the expectations of the beholders, that all creatures struggle for.

The interpretaion of joy and happiness is as numerous as the stars playing host to the daily sunrise and sunset, and innumerable as the grains of sand on the animated playful sandy beaches. Some are in the habit of attaching magical luck to the achievement of joy and happiness. But joy and happiness are often the fruit of the trees in the orchard that we cultivate.

  • Health stands on a different platform altogher. But we are all very conscious about it, except if we unfortunately consider life and health as a burden, the earlier we get rid of the them the better. But the extra super majority strive for health and go to all possibilities to maintain it, prolong it and preserve it. We are all very health conscious.

Regrettably, one’s own efforts are not the only requirements. A lot more depends on one’s own innate powers of preservation. Given a good measure of natural strength, combined with positive attitudes and, of course, a dose of good luck, life expectancy can go into centuries. Science leaves no stones unturned to make this objective yet another of its achievements.

  • But if it all depended solely on our efforts we would all grow up to be multi-centenarians. Just imagine how little space would be left for all of us to roam about.
