Ebon House: Nightmare in a Minor Key

Doorways

Rectangular portals to the never before seen,
ending with the eternally familiar.
Mark the beginning of the shortest walks,
while waiting patiently for journey's end.

Time darkened wood,
ever an ephemeral.
Stone solid and sturdy.
Guardian of the way

Carved, molded, patient, waiting. eternal gate, ephemeral marker.
The doors of Ebon House are Dante's Gate multiplied a hundred times.
