White duchess satin (very heavy, low sheen)
Style: 16th Century Irish dress
Skirt embroidered around edges with trinity knots and pearls
Bodice embroidered around edges with trinity knots and pearls and closed in front with pewter clasps
Sleeves (4" wide strips down outside of arm that tie at wrist) embroidered with squares made up of four trinity knots and pearls
Train:
From waist down; attaches to hooks at bottom of bodice
Same fabric as gown
Embroidered around edges with silver trinity knots and pearls
Underskirt:
Very full silver silk dupioni
Chemise:
White silk chiffon, very transparent
Narrow cuffs and collar with ruffles
Cuffs and collar embroidered with silver trinity knots
Headpiece:
"French hood" (stiff crescent) embroidered with silver trinity knots and pearls
Detachable tulle veil edged with narrow lace crocheted by the bride's step-mother
