Turn “Live Out Loud”, The New Passion Release, Very, Very Low

Passion, who has released some of the greatest Modern Praise and Worship CD’s in the last several years, is back with “Live Out Loud”.  This new CD is not the Passion that you remember, if you have been listening to their CD’s.  This CD is recorded live from various passion conferences held on college campuses.  This CD features the David Crowder Band, gone is Christy Nockels (of Watermark fame) who sang some of the standout tracks from the other CD’s. 

Instead of molding the modern worship movement, these songs sound like others currently a part of the movement.  Each song is quite repetitive, culminating in the last track, “Dance in the River” which consists mostly of the line “We’re gonna dance in the river” over and over again (at least 20 times during the entire course of the song…I lost count). 

The few standout tracks were covers of other songs that have been previously done, including God of Wonders.
