Graphics catalog

With the exception of the few graphics I've been able to scan myself and those I've been able to create, the graphics at this site were, quite frankly, stolen from other web pages. All graphics on this site that aren't mine on here on a temporary basis until I get permission of the webmasters to whom they belong.

If you see one of your images here and don't want it displayed on my page, e-mail me at conover@postandcourier.com and the image will be promptly removed.

My intention is to collect a good set of images that illustrate my subject and to make them available to anyone. In the meantime, I am attempting to credit the images I now use.

If you happen to have a jpg or gif that you think would look good here, please send them to me as e-mail attachments. All contributions will be credited here.

Albatros DV images

Leutnant der Reserve Albert Dossenbach and his wingman attack a balloon on June 27, 1917. The aircraft are yellow-nosed Albatros D.V's of Jasta 10, the unit which Dossenbach briefly commanded prior to his death in action. The painting depicts the ace's 15th victory. This painting by artist James Dietz appeared in volume 4, No. 4, of OTF .
