Born and raised in Pennsylvania and that is where I still am. Pennsylvania is okay except for the inane drivers. People say New York is bad. But damn...if one more yo-ho pulls out in front of me I might have to scream (oh wait...I have done that already...oh well).
I work with a Logistics company doing documentation for another company. So now I have a job that it's hard to explain...and it's a bit stressful..because I deal with people who are adults with brains...who forget to use them.
The closest to stats you will get is that I am a female who is 5'4" (or since the last time I checked that is), twenty eight, weigh over 1 lb, wear both contacts and glasses, have brown eyes and my natural hair color is brown. I love having long hair...but it started to get "heavy" because I have thick hair unlike my sisters who have thinner hair. So these days I'm sporting a shoulder-cut length hairstyle.
I graduated college in May 1997 majoring in Office Administration with a minor in Business, which pretty much means I can do probably anything with computers (except programming unless perhaps I train for it). If you have perused my pages some, you would think I have no concept with colors, but they could have been worse. My favorite colors are: blue, black, dark greens, dark purples, dark browns and red isn't all that bad because well...I look good in them is why. (Good reason no?)
I listen to all types of music. Granted I say I'm not picky to what I listen to, but you wouldn't be able to tell that while I'm driving since I'm always changing the music. I prefer not to conk out while driving. I guess my mood just changes a lot while driving...as does the choice of music.
My favorite movies are Labyrinth, Hope Floats and The Crow. They are completely different types of movies, but alas. I like suspenseful movies and ones that keep you on your toes. Granted, I really haven't found many of those out there. Another movie which truly always moves me is the Anne of Green Gables/Anne of Avonlea series. I can watch that millions of times and just cry my eyes out. The only kind of movies that I try to avoid are those with talking animals. Cartoons are fine....talking animals in non-toons are bad. For example, the first ten minutes of Babe were hard....it wasn't interesting; therefore, I didn't watch it. Other movies that I didn't like much were: Trainspotting (left after the guy dove into the toilet for a joint), Casino (not sure if I left or endured this one...I blocked it from my mind), Posse (left after an hour and no plot formed) and The Hunt for Red October (while watching this I fell asleep until near the end). I really like pretty much anything....but there's exceptions to the rule really. A few actors I do like are Danny Kaye (The Court Jester to name one movie), Audrey Hepburn (Funny Face) and Katherine Hepburn (The Rainmaker).
As far as plays go broadway or not, I loved Phantom of the Opera and hated Cats. Otherwise, I like plays. (very informative no?)
I like to go dancing even though I haven't in awhile. I also like to play volleyball...but it's hard when you don't have others to play with (volleyball that is). Other sporty things I like are walking (it's a sport!), ping pong (I have somewhat learned to play with both my left and right hands but have yet to get to the insanely good part), jetski-ing and hiking.
That's more or less me. I put on something in my ICQ that describes me rather well....here it is: "Like my birthstone, the diamond, I have many facets of that which makes who I am. If you only look at a few of them, you only see a part of me. Like a diamond that is in under light, only a few of the facets gleam back into the world. To fully grasp me is to know and accept the diamond for what it is."
