What is love?
A passionate and tender devotion?
An infatuation?
A yearning for?
Having admiration for?
Or having a lover?
They are all denoted as love
but where is self-esteem in infatuation?
or in passion and yearning?
or as a lover?
Infatuation implies a foolish passion for another
Yearning and desire are synonymous with infatutation
Lover suggests a sexual relationship
But self-esteem is then denoted as
pride, vanity and patronizing?
But it is also denoted as having
self-respect for yourself
and also happiness.
One word
but it has two meanings
that are so adverse to each other.
How could love
give you happiness
yet fill you with pride
which could be bad and good
depending on
what you think of love.
