Would you like to dance? he asked while reaching for my hand pulling me to the river's edge.
Looking up, his knowing eyes surrendered my hesitation as I clung to him mesmerized as he deftly swept me into another world.
The river runs stopping for no one washing away first steps into the waterbed of chance to never be tried again.
If you hesitate as the river runs its melody, the currents will knock you down and the dance will be done.
So I will close my eyes taking in his every motion as he spins me to new seas and oceans. Otherwise, I may never know the joy in the dance.
